We know life happens! But our classes are intentionally small, our instructors are paid by enrollment, and materials are prepped ahead — so please make sure you can commit before booking. Here's how it works:
Single day Workshops
Cancellations made 14 days or more before class are eligible for a full refund or class credit.
Cancellations made less than 14 days before class are no longer eligible for refunds but can apply credit towards a future class.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before class or no-shows are not eligible for a refund, credit, or rescheduling.
If we ever have to cancel a class, you'll get the choice of a full 100% refund or 100% class credit.
-
Multi-week courses
Non-refundable, but can be rescheduled or transferred or to a friend or within a year of booking.
Please don't sign up if you already know you'll miss multiple weeks. In general, missing one class is okay, two is a little hairy.
We don't offer make-up classes. If you miss a regular week or feel behind, you're welcome to join us for Open Studio at the current student rate.
Each week we learn a new skill that builds toward your finished project. Some skills are easy to catch up on. Others, like soldering, are critical and take a whole class session to teach. Missing a critical skills week may mean you can't finish your project without private instruction. Private instruction depends on instructor availability and you'll need to make it up with an instructor at our private rate ($15 every 10 minutes, $90 an hour).
If we ever have to cancel a class, you'll get the choice of a full 100% refund or 100% class credit.
