Its officially summer in SoCal, come take the time to learn a new skill. Make every day a glassy day, learn to cut, shape and customize your perfect board, hummingbird, or flower. This single-day stained glass workshop is the perfect way to dig into the basics of stained glass. You'll learn how to safely cut glass, grind, foil, and solder while creating a beautiful summer inspired sun catcher. This is a beginner friendly class with an advanced technique.
In this 5-hour class, you will:
Select your your glass from our personal collection
Learn to cut glass
Grind your pieces for a perfect fit
Select flowers to place inclusions
Apply copper foil using the Tiffany method
Solder your piece to bring it all together
Additions skills: This is an advanced technique of layering glass with inclusions. I’ll go over how to avoid rot, flower pressing and preservation, and a demo on edge beading and patina. Prior experience helpful but not required.

Add a vase and it becomes a bud vase or propagation station—perfect for displaying your clippings, some fresh blooms, or just catching some rays. Add a mirror for a little vanity set up— perfect to hang necklaces and earrings.
In this 5-hour class, you will:

Euro Summer -- 'nuff said. Standing sculptures in the day time and romantic candle scape at night 🤌. Bring that European summer home with these stained glass tea lights. Students are encouraged to bring seashells or tumbled glass from their travels. We'll explore the tiffany method and learn how to wrap foreign objects.

This workshop is perfect for beginners and a great introduction to the world of stained glass. This single day workshop goes over the copper foil method popularized by Louis Comfort Tiffany. Glass is cut and ground for you before you arrive, so you skip straight to the fun parts — foiling, soldering, and designing a piece that goes home with you the same night. All materials and tools are included; just bring your creativity (and closed-toed shoes).
Come solo, bring your date, or make it a girls' night. If you are coming with your date you can join projects to make one large one (~14 pieces)
Interested in stained glass? This is the highlight reel! Students will arrange pre cut glass patterns to make a hibiscus flower. While you won’t do the whole process to start to finish, this a great way to get a taste of stained glass! Students will learn how to foil, solder, create 3d embellishments and patina their glass.
Brighten up any space with this sunny art strip. This beginners class is a great intro to stained glass, you'll choose your own colors and textures, cut your strips to build your suncatcher.

What you'll make: a completed Art Strip suncatcher, ready to take home and hang the same day

Design and make your own stained glass photo strip frame! Organize your glass and try your hand at engraving to truly customize your frame. Not necessary, but students are encouraged to bring their own photos so we can adjust the fit. Make a 2x6 or 2x8 photo frame. Glass is cut and ground for you before you arrive, so you skip straight to the fun parts — foiling, soldering, and designing a piece that goes home with you the same night.
